Welcome to Woodfold Fisheries
Welcome to Woodfold Farm Fisheries - a mixed coarse fishery situated in the heart of Lancashire on the south side of Beacon Fell and on the edge of The Trough of Bowland National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The fishery lies between the historic market towns of Garstang and Longridge and comprises of six individual and unique waters covering an area of 6 acres of water and lying within over 10 acres of banks and woodland and the beautiful and scenic Lancashire countryside. We have an amazing array of fish including, Rudd, Roach, Carp (Crucian, Common and Mirror Carp), Bream, Tench, Chubb, Perch, Ide and even Barbel!
The fishery was established by the Cornthwaite Family 30 years ago with the construction and stocking of the first water 'Beacon Waters'. Approximately two years later, phase two of the development was to build 'Woodfold Water' and 'Fyldeview Water'.
Early in the 1990's saw phase three completed with the building of 'Whippercroft' and 'Cornthwaite Waters' together with two small adjacent stock ponds. In 2002 the final stage of the development was the building of 'The Bents Water'.
8 years ago we became a ‘Members only’ water, allowing exclusive access to Woodfold Farm Fisheries, for the keen and respectful angler to enjoy our tranquil and beautiful surroundings.
